The force a lifting cushion can deliver depends on the pressure (P) in the lifting cushion and on the working surface area of the lifting cushion (L x W). This surface area decreases as the stroke (S) of the lifting cushion increases.

Lifting pads type HD. Longer life at higher frequency of movement.

Type HD stands for heavy duty. Basically, the HD type is an improved version of the two largest AS/CR lifting cushions and expanded with a 405mm wide lifting cushion. The largest type delivers at the smallest possible stroke 10 tons at a length of 1 meter and an air pressure of 4 Bar. Endurance tests on our test bench have shown that the improvements applied give the new HD types a longer service life. The HD types are only fractionally more expensive than the AS/CR types of similar width.

HD lifting cushions are also manufactured to your requirements on a per-order basis. Each lifting cushion is custom-made and is assembled with the greatest care by our people. You can determine the length and type, as well as the position of the air connection. Although each lifting cushion is made especially for you, we can still deliver relatively quickly.

Greater lifting height:

Because a type with a width of 405mm is available in this series, lifting heights up to 243mm can now be achieved.

  • Permissible temperatures for the hose material from -35°C to +90°C.
  • Connection nipples made of AISI 303 or brass; vertical (1/4″G or 1/2″G) or horizontal (hose barb or 1/8″G threaded connection).
  • End strips made of AISI 304.
